March-May

March,April, and May were pretty uneventful months at our house. Other than Easter and Jeff finishing his first year of school, not too much happened around here. Though we do have a super cute son and took plenty of pictures of him along the way. So this is mainly going to be a post with our favorite Bensen pictures. He loves his dogs, talking on the phone, helping bake, playing guitar with his dad, wearing our shoes, his slide, helping mow the lawn, and being silly.

These three made quite the team, looking for Easter eggs. They're sure cute.

January-Mid March

We went to Grand Rapids, Michigan to celebrate the New Year with my sister and her family. Bensen sure loves his cousins, especially that Eliza.

We ditched Bensen one night and went to see Guster. Despite the lead singer flew into Bloomington, Illinois, it was such a fun concert.

Bensen fell asleep here one day when he was refusing to take a nap. A few weeks later, his dad feel asleep in the same spot. Such fun.

During spring break, we went to Children's Museum in Indy and stayed the night at a hotel with a pool (which we all loved). The next day we did some shopping at Costco and Trader Joe's. Bensen was very tired at the museum and we only saw him smile once the entire time. We'll try again sometime.

December 2012

I'm a little behind on blogging, in case you hadn't noticed. In December we went to the Jazz vs. Indiana Pacers game in Indy. It was great fun even though the Pacers had a blow out win. Jeff was so happy to be seeing the Jazz in person and Bensen enjoyed his first game. Luckily, we found a great deal and our seats were front row of the upper level so we had a little more leg room and didn't have to worry about Bensen knocking people in the head.

We tried to get the attention of these two but we weren't wearing our Jazz gear so they didn't notice us.

We went straight to the airport to pick up Grandma Lynn. We were so excited to have her visiting for a few days. Here are some pictures to highlight her visit.

We loved making candy with Grandma Lynn and opening presents that she brought. Bensen just loved being with his Grandma and would sit on her lap any chance he got. Co6aka was pretty excited to see Grandma as well. We are lucky she could come visit us.

We had a great Christmas, just the three of us.
